Sea Explorers of Korea is the only non-profit youth organization dedicated to instiling in our youths the importance of maritime preservation and cherishing our rich ocean heritage. Since its inception in 1962, the foundation has worked to ensure that our youths possess a healthy appreciation of maritime spirit.

The ocean has been very special to Koreans. Its rich resources have proposed our economy and its noble spirit has enriched our culture, making it a truly invaluable asset. Based on our understanding and love for the ocean, Sea Explorers provide a wide range of programs, such as exhibits, group event, on-site demonstrations, role-playing and maritime related educational programs for different age groups, to foster the awareness of the relationship between Korea and the sea.

For the past 40 years, membership in the Sea Explorers has been and will continue to be an honor and a privilege for young Koreans. Becoming a Sea Explorer will mean joining a 200,000 strong group, which inherited various valuable traditions from previous members, and this experience will ultimately remain with them for the rest of their lives.

This web page hopes to give you a brief glimpse into the world of Sea Explorers by highlighting the various exciting programs we offer, as well as providing photographs that show our Sea Explorers in action.

Therefore, I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you on board to experience unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime.

Thank you.
